Electric Cigarette

Smoking has been around for centuries.  Many people around the world smoke and most of them have become addicted to this dangerous and unhealthy behavior.  Traditional smoking has some very negative impacts on your body and social behaviors and can even be a cause for some life ending disease such as cardiovascular disease and cancer.  In days past, smoking was considered socially acceptable and maybe even healthy.  Recent studies and experiments, however, have proven that smoking can be detrimental to you own health as well as to the people that surround you.  In order to preserve the same physical sensation that is created by smoking but without all of the negative side effects, the electric cigarette was introduced.

The electric cigarette, or electronic cigarettes are a novel invention that has come out to help smokers either quit smoking or enjoy a healthier form of it.  One of the great things about the electric cigarette is that you can actually choose the amount of nicotine that you would like to have in your cigarette so that you can start decreasing your doses and kick the addiction.  This is a great stop-smoking program because you can do it without having to resort to a patch or some kind of gum.

If you are not trying to quit but just want to be a little more health conscious, then this is still a great option for you.  One of the major benefits to an electric cigarette is the fact that it is completely smoke free.  Smoke is one of the worst parts about smoking because you are essentially burning tobacco and tar and then placing these harmful carcinogens right into your lungs.  This burning of toxic chemicals and materials is one of the main reasons that smoking is so detrimental to your health.  Electric cigarettes, on the other hands, use a special substance called an e liquid to help you inhale a toxic free vapor with your allowed concentration of nicotine.

The e-liquid is made out of a mixture of nicotine and Propylene Glycol and is essentially the same base mixture that is used in fog machines.  The electric cigarette just warms the mixture and a puff of vapor is released that can be inhaled.  There is also no second hand smoke attached, so you don’t have to worry about hurting your friends or loved ones.  On top of that, you can also get eliquids that have certain flavorings so that you can branch out and try some different smoking tastes.  This is also nice because instead of having smoker’s breath, you now will have pleasant aromas that surround you and may even make you smell better than you did before.
